Crews battle two house fires on the same Fayette County road

BOOMER, W.Va. — Fayette County 911 dispatchers told MetroNews affiliate WJLS a house fire spread to a neighboring home early Tuesday morning.

The call first came in just after 6 Tuesday morning to a residence along Livesay Lane in the area of Boomer. Upon arriving, firefighters noticed the blaze spreading to another home. The fire was extinguished and crews left the scene before 10 in the morning.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Boomer, Montgomery and Smithers Fire Departments all responded to the scene.
