Bluefield Police searching for armed shoplifter

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — The Bluefield Police Department is searching for a man who they say shoplifted the Tractor Supply Store along East Cumberland Road.

He allegedly stole welding tools from the store on Tuesday, October 24. When employees tried to stop him, he reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot.

Little is known at this time, but employees say he got away in a blue Nissan Ultima.
