OAK HILL, W.Va. — A Fayette County man was killed in an ATV crash near Oak Hill Sunday night, authorities said.
Thomas Medford, 62, of Oak Hill, was riding in the Beech Creek Hollow area at about 7:30 p.m. when he lost control of the ATV and crashed, according to Fayette County sheriff’s deputies.
Medford was checking on his hunting location when the crash happened. The ATV went over a steep embankment, deputies said.
Medford was riding alone.
