The community is invited to take part in a Wreaths Across America ceremony this Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Veterans Cemetery on 312 Blair Street in Beckley, behind Memorial Baptist Church.
The event will honor the veterans laid to rest at the cemetery, as volunteers place wreaths on graves as part of the national Wreaths Across America effort. The annual tradition is held at cemeteries across the country to remember fallen service members, honor those who serve, and teach future generations about the value of freedom.
Organizers encourage the public to attend and participate in the tribute.
