An Ohio man has been sentenced to prison for a drug crime committed in West Virginia.
According to a press release from the Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, 20-year-old Lucas Alexander Robinson, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to one to fifteen years in state prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
The prosecutor’s office said deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robinson in the Lynco area. During the arrest, deputies recovered more than $3,000 in cash, along with fentanyl and oxycodone found inside Robinson’s vehicle.
Robinson was remanded to the West Virginia Division of Corrections to begin serving his sentence. Officials said he also has outstanding warrants in Ohio that remain pending.
