Winterplace is getting ready to welcome skiers and snowboarders for the 2025–2026 winter season. The resort officially opens on Saturday, December 6, operating from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Opening day will feature one trail, a chairlift, and the Heaven Holler Terrain Park, with snowmaking continuing to bring more terrain online by Saturday, December 13.
The resort comes into the season with national recognition, earning top 3 honors in USA Today’s 10Best Awards for both Best Ski School and Best Place for Snow Tubing.

Guests can also enjoy a special holiday visit from Santa, arriving on the slopes from December 23–25. Visitors are encouraged to check Winterplace’s snow report and social media for updates throughout the season.
