A popular holiday tradition in Lewisburg will take a break this year — but for a good reason.

State Fair of West Virginia officials announced that the Christmas at the Fair drive-through light show will not take place in 2025.

According to fair officials, the pause is necessary to allow for ongoing repairs, infrastructure upgrades, and general maintenance across the fairgrounds.

In an online post, the State Fair said the light show will be missed this season, but the improvements being made will help the fair continue to grow and create new opportunities for future events.

The Christmas at the Fair light show began in 2020 and typically included both drive-through and walk-through nights.
