Several Fayette County towns have set their trick-or-treat and trunk-or-treat schedules for the upcoming Halloween season. Each municipality determines its own dates and times through city council.

Montgomery will open the festivities with a Trunk or Treat on October 23 from 5 to 7 p.m.

On October 25, Ansted will host its event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Later that day, Smithers will welcome trick-or-treaters from 4 to 7 p.m., Pax will begin at 5 p.m., and Oak Hill will feature its annual Nightmare on Main starting at 6 p.m.

Traditional trick-or-treating in Montgomery is scheduled for October 30 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Halloween night will be especially busy across the county. Meadow Bridge has set its hours from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Fayetteville will hold a Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m. Trick-or-treating will also take place in Oak Hill and Ansted from 6 to 8 p.m.

Pax and Mount Hope have not yet announced their trick-or-treat hours. Those times are expected to be finalized following upcoming council meetings.
