Rainelle resident Devon Davis, 21, was arrested September 30, 2025, on one count of possession of child pornography, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest followed an investigation led by Sergeant D.L. Vaught after a tip from the West Virginia State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Authorities said the tip resulted in a detailed investigation that led to Davis’s arrest.
He is being held at the Southern Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and more charges could follow as evidence is reviewed.
