Music lovers In Southern West Virginia will have A rare opportunity in October. “The President’s Own” United States Marine Corps Band will perform at Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley on Thursday, October 2nd.
Founded in 1798, The Marine Band is the Nation’s oldest continuously active professional musical group, performing For the President and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
Band Director Marshall Rickman says the concert will showcase some of the Country’s finest Wind, Percussion, and Vocal Performers. The event is free, but tickets are required. Doors open at 6:45, with the performance starting at 7:30.
